a short list names asked to be first. None of them bought a token here. They asked for the product.

Aspen House — A system of record for private-credit funds and desks: tapes, RFQs, or covenants that update when a borrower files. The buyers already have a book. This is plumbing, not a venue that matches strangers.

Screened, not yet in sprint. Treat every number as provisional. Calendar access is not automatic.

Archive is free. Live access is timed. Aspen House is timed.

Diligence, not a prospectus. RCA Pad does not allocate, take orders, or close funding. If this company raises, it raises with its own counsel.

The wedge

Desk seat

Aspen House wants to be the record everyone already trusts, without becoming the venue.

Why the desk took it

Early — still a question.

They asked us to kill ‘marketplace’ in every sentence. We did.

Traction

One named pilot (redacted).

Founded 2023, headquartered in Melbourne. One named pilot on file (redacted in public). 1 nodes or connected surfaces reported. Desk diligence score 63/100. A national registry counterpart, not a scrape. Architecture says keys / title / NAV liability sit with a named licensed party — not Aspen House.

Next 12 months

One administrator consuming marks daily.

eFront and Allvue are funds’ books. This is the tape between funds. They sell a fee the customer already pays a slower vendor for. TAM is that invoice, not a token float.

The brief

How a serious reader should hold this.

The first sentence Eva Okafor would not let us publish was the exciting one. What remains is slower — and scarcer: Aspen House Ltd selling Credit covenants as software, from Melbourne, to a buyer who already pays someone else to do this badly. That buyer is named. You are not, yet.

Aspen House exists because the incumbent brand will not staff the unglamorous middle of Credit covenants. The product is that middle. The token, if it ever exists, is not the product — and is not for sale here. The people in the queue already understood the difference.

A dual-control drill sits on paper. Keys, title, or NAV liability sit with a named licensed party — not Aspen House. The architecture says so. We have not watched the drill live. That is the next ask, not a slogan.

From the founder

This communication is not an offer. Participation mechanics do not exist on this pad. If a later reader treats the public stack as the offer, the stack was already wrong.

From the pilot

The legal source of truth stays with the incumbent register, admin, or custodian. Aspen House does not attest to its own facts.

From the screen

We will not describe this as Reg CA-compliant, MiCA-stickered, or FCA-authorised. Issuers retain their own counsel in every relevant jurisdiction.

The window

Miss this and you read the archive.

Miss 9 days and you are explaining to your IC why you read it after it closed.

0% of proceeds. Fixed fee. The incentive is a clean campaign — not a raise.

Open the diligence or watch it close. There is not a third option that still counts as early.

Our TAM is an invoice the customer already pays. A coin would not make it larger. It would make the licence harder.

The bet

Why this company exists.

Aspen House wants to be the record everyone already trusts, without becoming the venue.

Aspen House wants to be the record everyone already trusts, without becoming the venue.

Allocators want daily marks and covenant visibility. Banks want to originate without building a chain team. The first honest tape that does not pretend to be an exchange will be paid for as software.

Private credit AUM is measured in trillions. The software take-rate is small. The switching cost, once a tape is the record, is not.

Versus the field

A generalist vendor can copy the slide in a quarter. They cannot copy the named record, the scheme map, or the auditor conversation. That is the year they would have to buy.

Named: Melbourne. Off-limits: EU retail, United States. A US person hearing an offering communication is a US problem even if the company sits in Melbourne. Blocking an IP and taking a US Telegram admin is not a block.

How it works

  1. 01A loan or covenant event is written once
  2. 02Permissioned counterparties see what they are allowed to see
  3. 03Marks and RFQs stay inside named desks
  4. 04No public order book, no retail
  5. 05Default and amendment events are first-class, not a PDF in a side channel
  6. 06A named counterparty verifies; Aspen House does not attest to its own facts.

If they raise

Where the money would actually go.

Not a token float. A budget against work. RCA Pad still takes 0% of proceeds.

  • Second market

    30%

Keeping the public story from running ahead of the claims register.

  • Counsel & perimeter

    18%

Hiring the operator who already does this job at a licensed firm.

  • Control environment

    18%

A counsel memo that can survive a later reader.

  • Named operators

    34%

The remaining certifications and the second named market.

Operating week

What “in market” actually looks like.

  1. WedCounselPerimeter diffs. If the site drifted from the memo, the site moves — not the memo.
  2. ThuCustomerNamed pilot (redacted) sees the same record the auditor saw.
  3. SatDarkNo creators. No threads. Restricted geos stay dark.
  4. SunOwnersWho can decide messaging and budget on a recorded line. If the answer is nobody, stop.

The wedge

Why this one, not the other one.

They sell
Desk seat
Who pays
A national registry counterpart, not a scrape.
Unit economics
They sell a fee the customer already pays a slower vendor for. TAM is that invoice, not a token float.
Moat on file
Four origination desks already post into a closed tape.
Switching cost
Permissioned connectivity is the moat. Public endpoints would erase it.
Vs the comps
eFront and Allvue are funds’ books. This is the tape between funds.
Why we listed it
They asked us to kill ‘marketplace’ in every sentence. We did.

Next twelve months

What has to be true.

One administrator consuming marks daily.

Architecture says keys / title / NAV liability sit with a named licensed party — not Aspen House.

Capital would fund the adapter work and a named counsel memo, not a public sale.

Traction

What you can verify today.

  • Architecture paper — no production customer on the public file
  • No token contract listed as a public sale
  • Named founder; customer still a conversation
  • Melbourne is the operating centre
  • The waitlist, if any, is a product list — not a book
  • RCA Pad does not take a cut of proceeds

Risks

What can kill it.

The one that actually kills it

The named customer is a letter of intent

Pilots that cannot be named, even redacted, are theatre. One paying seat that an auditor has seen is worth more than a waitlist of a short list.

Marketplace slip

The moment this looks like a public book, it is a venue. This pad will not list that.

Data rights

Who owns the tape when a fund leaves? If that is unsigned, the enterprise value is a conversation.

Credit cycle

A default cluster will test whether the product is a record or a reputation.

Retail

Retail is prohibited. Any ‘access token’ story is a different company.

Data rights on exit

If a fund leaves and the tape stays, who owns the history? Unsigned, the enterprise value is a conversation.

Token relapse

A later round that wants a public token puts Aspen House in a different perimeter. The file treats that as a hard stop.

Ask these next

  1. 01Where do keys, title, or NAV liability sit — and is that person licensed?
  2. 02Who is the first named paying customer — not a letter of intent?
  3. 03What does renewal look like if no round ever happens?
  4. 04Has counsel written the perimeter in a memo you can file?
  5. 05If RCA Pad disappeared tomorrow, could the customer still run the job?
  6. 06Is the waitlist demand for a product, or a queue for a coin?

Who can decide

The technical founder is on the record as engineering. Contractors in undisclosed jurisdictions are written down as a fact, not hidden. Facts can be managed. Hiding them is how companies die in diligence.

Year two is a second named market and the remaining certifications — still permissioned. It is not a public book. A public book would be a different company.
