Kelp Post

The incumbent copy takes a year. The named customer is already writing.

You can open twelve thinner companies. Or this one, once, while the window is still a number.

Kelp Post — An attestation graph: a fund or investor proves one fact (accredited, name, share-class) to a transfer agent or administrator without handing over the whole file. Selective disclosure is the product.

Live campaign. 2,600 on the product waitlist — that is demand, not an allocation.

They unpublish in an hour. They will not wait for your committee to finish reading.

Diligence, not a prospectus. RCA Pad does not allocate, take orders, or close funding. If this company raises, it raises with its own counsel.

The wedge

Per-onboarding event

Kelp Post sells a cost cut in onboarding, not an identity coin.

Why the desk took it

A real job, not a ticker.

US retail identity was taken off before we asked.

Traction

2 named pilots (redacted).

Founded 2024, headquartered in Amsterdam. 2 named pilots on file (identities redacted in public). 2,600 on the waitlist, gated — product demand, not a book built. 10 nodes or connected surfaces reported. Desk diligence score 87/100. A national registry counterpart, not a scrape. Counsel is named, even if the memo is still a draft. Unnamed counsel is how files die.

Next 12 months

One TA consuming revoke in production.

A ‘passport token’ is usually a security in costume. Seat plus event. If they ever attach a token as the unit of account, the file stops.

The brief

How a serious reader should hold this.

In Amsterdam, the person who signs the monthly pack already has a vendor. Kelp Post is not asking them to believe in a token. It is asking them to move one job — the one that currently lives in a spreadsheet, a fax, or a person who is about to retire — onto a record that can be shown to counsel. The queue to read that record is already not empty.

Kelp Post exists because the incumbent brand will not staff the unglamorous middle of Attestations. The product is that middle. The token, if it ever exists, is not the product — and is not for sale here. The people in the queue already understood the difference.

A dual-control drill sits on paper. Keys, title, or NAV liability sit with a named licensed party — not Kelp Post. The architecture says so. We have not watched the drill live. That is the next ask, not a slogan.

From the founder

The legal source of truth stays with the incumbent register, admin, or custodian. Kelp Post does not attest to its own facts.

From ops

We will not describe this as Reg CA-compliant, MiCA-stickered, or FCA-authorised. Issuers retain their own counsel in every relevant jurisdiction.

From the pilot

Fixed fee. Deposit to start. 0% of proceeds. Token-only pay is declined. Percentage of raise is declined.

The window

Miss this and you read the archive.

Skip it and you read the archive. Counterparties who matter will have already asked.

Certification is in motion. After it lands, the price of the seat is not the question — access is.

Open the diligence or watch it close. There is not a third option that still counts as early.

Renewal is the round. If nobody renews, there is no company. A token would not fix that.

This company

Kelp Post

Open-source looks free until the auditor asks who attests. Kelp Post has an answer.

The bet

Why this company exists.

Kelp Post sells a cost cut in onboarding, not an identity coin.

Kelp Post sells a cost cut in onboarding, not an identity coin.

Transfer agents and AIFMs are being asked for faster onboarding without becoming identity companies. Attestations they can revoke are the compromise.

Fund onboarding cost is a known line item. A 20–40% cut in cycle time is a budget, not a vision deck.

Versus the field

A generalist vendor can copy the slide in a quarter. They cannot copy the named record, the scheme map, or the auditor conversation. That is the year they would have to buy.

Named: Netherlands, EEA professional. Off-limits: Global public, United States. A US person hearing an offering communication is a US problem even if the company sits in Amsterdam. Blocking an IP and taking a US Telegram admin is not a block.

How it works

  1. 01A fact is attested by a party the recipient already trusts
  2. 02The holder discloses only the field requested
  3. 03The rest of the file stays dark
  4. 04Revocation is a first-class event
  5. 05The recipient never sees the rest of the file — selective disclosure is enforced, not promised
  6. 06Kill of a public sentence is an hour, not a committee.

If they raise

Where the money would actually go.

Not a token float. A budget against work. RCA Pad still takes 0% of proceeds.

  • Counsel & perimeter

    35%

Adapter work against the incumbent register, admin, or custodian.

  • Control environment

    25%

A counsel memo that can survive a later reader.

  • Named operators

    14%

Keeping the public story from running ahead of the claims register.

  • Certifications & adapters

    26%

The remaining certifications and the second named market.

Operating week

What “in market” actually looks like.

  1. FriKill switchRehearse unpublish in 24 hours. If it takes a committee, it is not a switch.
  2. WedCounselPerimeter diffs. If the site drifted from the memo, the site moves — not the memo.
  3. MonClaimsEvery public sentence checked against the register. Anything extra is unpublished.
  4. ThuCustomerNamed pilot (redacted) sees the same record the auditor saw.

The wedge

Why this one, not the other one.

They sell
Per-onboarding event
Who pays
A national registry counterpart, not a scrape.
Unit economics
Seat plus event. If they ever attach a token as the unit of account, the file stops.
Moat on file
A transfer agent has agreed to consume the attestation in production.
Switching cost
Network effects only if a second named counterparty writes. One customer is a service firm.
Vs the comps
A ‘passport token’ is usually a security in costume.
Why we listed it
US retail identity was taken off before we asked.

Next twelve months

What has to be true.

One TA consuming revoke in production.

Counsel is named, even if the memo is still a draft. Unnamed counsel is how files die.

Capital would fund the adapter work and a named counsel memo, not a public sale.

Traction

What you can verify today.

  • Operating notes for W3C attestations
  • No token contract listed as a public sale
  • Named founder; customer still a conversation
  • Amsterdam is the operating centre
  • The waitlist, if any, is a product list — not a book
  • RCA Pad does not take a cut of proceeds

Risks

What can kill it.

The one that actually kills it

The founder wants a public book

The moment Kelp Post asks this pad to allocate, sell, or complete funding, the listing ends. That is not a moral project. It is how a services firm stays a services firm.

Who attests

If the attester is the company itself, this is a database with extra steps.

Portability theatre

A graph nobody else reads is a PDF with a hash.

US

US retail identity products are a different statute. Many of these files keep the US off.

Utility token

Paying for attestations in a native token is usually a securities problem in costume.

Self-attestation

If Kelp Post is the attester, this is a database with extra steps. The graph only matters if someone else signs.

Single-customer gravity

If the first named buyer is also the only buyer, Kelp Post is a services shop with a ledger. Ask for the second.

Ask these next

  1. 01Is the waitlist demand for a product, or a queue for a coin?
  2. 02Who is the first named paying customer — not a letter of intent?
  3. 03Which geography is actually locked, and which is a hope?
  4. 04If RCA Pad disappeared tomorrow, could the customer still run the job?
  5. 05What does renewal look like if no round ever happens?
  6. 06Which incumbent can copy this in a quarter, and what would they have to migrate?

Structure

How money would actually move.

If this company raises, it raises with its own counsel and providers. The waitlist is a product list. It is not a round, a book, or an allocation on RCA Pad. We do not take a cut.

Who can decide

The technical founder is on the record as Head of product. Contractors in undisclosed jurisdictions are written down as a fact, not hidden. Facts can be managed. Hiding them is how companies die in diligence.

Year two is a second named market and the remaining certifications — still permissioned. It is not a public book. A public book would be a different company.
