Sedge Forge

Window a fewd · waitlist a short list · our cut 0%. Do the maths.

Sedge Forge survived the screen. Most of Fund interests did not. That is not a slogan. It is the decline pile.

Sedge Forge — An operational layer for funds: NAV events, share-class records, books an AIFM can defend. The administrator remains the administrator. This is co-sourced infrastructure, not a tokenised fund on a public board.

Screened, not yet in sprint. Treat every number as provisional. Calendar access is not automatic.

The named customer already picked. The waitlist is everyone who was late to that fact.

Diligence, not a prospectus. RCA Pad does not allocate, take orders, or close funding. If this company raises, it raises with its own counsel.

The wedge

Bps of AUM on the books

Sedge Forge sells a 15-day lag down to a day, without turning the unit into a coin.

Why the desk took it

Early — still a question.

Unit-as-token was refused in notes. We will not reverse that.

Traction

One named pilot (redacted).

Founded 2022, headquartered in London. One named pilot on file (redacted in public). Desk diligence score 56/100. A transfer agent willing to consume a revoke in production. A dual-control drill exists on paper. We have not watched it live yet — that is the next ask.

Next 12 months

Daily NAV in one live fund.

A public tokenised fund is a different file — and usually the wrong house. They win if they are cheaper than the internal build, not cheaper than a protocol.

The brief

How a serious reader should hold this.

The decline pile in Fund interests is not a rumour. It is how this board stays readable. Sedge Forge is what survived. That is the sell.

What you can verify today is smaller than the slide. What you cannot verify is named as a question, not a promise. That is the difference between this company and a pad listing — and why the waitlist is not a coin queue.

US traffic was taken off the public surfaces in the first working session. Sedge Forge did not argue. Adult companies do not costume a US offering.

From ops

A dual-control drill exists on paper. Production evidence is the next artefact, not a tweet.

From the founder

The legal source of truth stays with the incumbent register, admin, or custodian. Sedge Forge does not attest to its own facts.

From the screen

This communication is not an offer. Participation mechanics do not exist on this pad. If a later reader treats the public stack as the offer, the stack was already wrong.

The window

Miss this and you read the archive.

The next Fund interests company on this board will not have this waitlist, this HQ, or this counsel posture.

Budget exists on a line the board can see. That is why the window is this quarter.

We do not allocate. We do not take a cut. We will not hold the window open for you.

The bet

Why this company exists.

Sedge Forge sells a 15-day lag down to a day, without turning the unit into a coin.

Sedge Forge sells a 15-day lag down to a day, without turning the unit into a coin.

Allocators want faster marks. Administrators cannot staff that with people. A dual-record (their books + this event) is how they sleep.

Fund administration is a fee business measured in basis points of AUM. A faster close is retained business.

Versus the field

L2 wrappers are cheaper. They are also a different perimeter — and declined here. Sedge Forge is priced as software against an invoice that already exists.

The live path is Not offering — locked. Proposed Regulation Crypto Assets is not treated as a calendar slot. Build as if it never opens.

How it works

  1. 01Administrator remains source of truth
  2. 02Events (NAV, subscription, share-class) are signed and timestamped
  3. 03Investors and auditors query what they are allowed to see
  4. 04The fund unit is not listed here as a token you can buy
  5. 05Investors and auditors query only what they are allowed to see
  6. 06Exceptions post back into the customer’s existing case system — no side spreadsheet.

If they raise

Where the money would actually go.

Not a token float. A budget against work. RCA Pad still takes 0% of proceeds.

Operating week

What “in market” actually looks like.

  1. TueExceptionsOvernight breaks post back into the customer’s case system. No side book.
  2. ThuCustomerNamed pilot (redacted) sees the same record the auditor saw.
  3. SatDarkNo creators. No threads. Restricted geos stay dark.
  4. SunOwnersWho can decide messaging and budget on a recorded line. If the answer is nobody, stop.

The wedge

Why this one, not the other one.

They sell
Bps of AUM on the books
Who pays
A transfer agent willing to consume a revoke in production.
Unit economics
They win if they are cheaper than the internal build, not cheaper than a protocol.
Moat on file
Auditor has seen the dual-record and not walked out.
Switching cost
Once the record is the record, the incumbent copy has to migrate history. That is the year.
Vs the comps
A public tokenised fund is a different file — and usually the wrong house.
Why we listed it
Unit-as-token was refused in notes. We will not reverse that.

Next twelve months

What has to be true.

Daily NAV in one live fund.

A dual-control drill exists on paper. We have not watched it live yet — that is the next ask.

Growth money would extend the record to a second geography, still permissioned.

Traction

  • Architecture paper — no production customer on the public file
  • No token contract listed as a public sale
  • Pilot letters on file, identities redacted
  • London is the operating centre
  • The waitlist, if any, is a product list — not a book
  • RCA Pad does not take a cut of proceeds

Risks

What can kill it.

The one that actually kills it

A second geography without a lock

Extending the record into a market that is still restricted is how a clean London story becomes a fact pattern. The restricted list exists for a reason: United States retail.

Unit token

A share-class token sold to the public is a securities offering. This pad will not run that as a sale.

Admin of record

If the admin has not signed, this is a shadow book. Shadow books do not survive an audit.

NAV liability

Who is wrong when the number is wrong? That sentence has to exist.

Distribution

Using this layer as a public subscription journey is a different file — and usually the wrong house.

Shadow book

If the administrator has not signed, Sedge Forge is a copy of a spreadsheet. Copies do not survive the audit.

Incumbent feature

The administrator, CCP, scheme or custodian can ship this as a checkbox. Sedge Forge has to be cheaper or faster before that happens.

Ask these next

  1. 01Which geography is actually locked, and which is a hope?
  2. 02Has counsel written the perimeter in a memo you can file?
  3. 03Who is the first named paying customer — not a letter of intent?
  4. 04Where do keys, title, or NAV liability sit — and is that person licensed?
  5. 05Which incumbent can copy this in a quarter, and what would they have to migrate?
  6. 06If RCA Pad disappeared tomorrow, could the customer still run the job?

Who can decide

The technical founder is on the record as engineering. Contractors in undisclosed jurisdictions are written down as a fact, not hidden. Facts can be managed. Hiding them is how companies die in diligence.

If the first customer renews, the adapter work pays for itself. If they do not, Sedge Forge is a services firm with a slide. The twelve-month test is renewal, not waitlist.
