What belongs in the cabinet before anyone writes “we”
Twelve folders. Empty folders are allowed. Missing folders that the site implies are not.
Folder list
- 01Entity — certificates, constitutional documents, directors, org graph, related parties.
- 02Team — named people, roles, who speaks, who approves. Not a cartoon of anonymous wolves.
- 03Product — URLs, repos, explorer, architecture note a technician can hate honestly.
- 04Security — engagement letters, reports, scope, dates, what was out of scope.
- 05Instrument — token spec, contract addresses if live, supply, admin keys, change log.
- 06Legal — counsel of record, engagement, current memos, promotions advice, not Slack screenshots.
- 07Pathway — dated note on offering status, including “not offering.” Filings or notifications if any.
- 08Markets — geography lock, sophistication, geo and channel controls.
- 09Commercial — any prior sales, SAFTs, side letters, insider allocations, lockups.
- 10Financial — if you will talk about treasury, runway, or “backed by,” the artefacts or silence.
- 11Communications — claims register, archive of what ran, takedown log.
- 12Incidents — bugs, pauses, prior campaigns, prior regulators’ letters if they exist. Hide nothing a later reader will find.
If a sentence on the internet points at something, that something lives in a folder or the sentence is withdrawn. “Independent security review in progress” needs a letter. “Used by X” needs X’s permission and a fact. “Treasury of —” needs a number you will still sign in a month.
