A creator roster with a takedown clause · Due diligence

A seat is earned with a file, not with a screenshot of reach

Reach is a number. It is not a diligence file. We want identity that can be named in an agreement. We want a disclosure history we can look at — have they been a stealth ad for three years, or can they show a pattern of stating the relationship. We want a sense of geographic mix that is honest, including the markets we have locked out. We want a prohibited-claim record: what they have already said about other tokens, whether they will accept a list that includes “audited,” “guaranteed,” “risk-free,” “coming soon” as a sale.

Payment terms are written in the same currency we are willing to receive: fiat, on invoice, against a scope. Token-only pay for creators has the same smell as token-only pay for us. Until counsel confirms a lawful structure, we do not staff a campaign on tokens. This disappoints people who thought alignment meant everyone eats the float. Alignment, here, means everyone can still take the post down on a weekday.

Geographic restrictions are not an insult. A creator who is excellent in a professional EU setting may be unusable for a UK-consumer-touching campaign, and vice versa. Mira Vale, on the Vellum roster, is marked EU professional and US accredited. Owen Hart is United Kingdom professional. Those are not bios. They are locks. If a brief needs a market they do not have, we do not “just this once.”

Roster file, minimum

If a field is empty, they are not on the roster. They are a friend of the founder.

Identity
A legal name and a handle, in an agreement.
Disclosure
Written requirement, visible in-artefact, archived.
Claims
Permitted and prohibited lists drawn from the register.
Geography
Named markets they may address. Named markets they may not.
Pre-approval
The post is read before it is public.
Evidence
Publication capture. Archive URL.
Takedown
SLA, contact, what “down” means on each platform.
Pay
Invoice, scope, no improvisation in tokens.

Founders ask whether a mega-account can skip the file because they “won’t do all that.” Then they will not do this campaign. A mega-account that will not accept a prohibited list is telling you how the week after launch will feel. Believe them.
