Hold, pause, remove — without a group therapy session

Desk Seven drafted a global-retail thread with return language. The post did not run. The seat went to hold. The approver was notified. The incident is on the blotter as paused. That is the whole story, and it is the correct amount of story. We do not owe a public explanation to a following that never saw the draft.

Hold means: do not publish, do not brief them on the next piece, record why. Removed means the agreement is done and they are off the list. Pause on an incident can apply to a channel, not only a person — if a platform cannot honour takedown in the SLA, that platform is paused for this campaign. Argument under the post is forbidden. You cannot win a claims incident in the replies.

Severity: if prohibited wording ran in an excluded market, takedown starts now, not after a meeting. Twenty-four hours is the house default. If the creator cannot meet it, they should not have been paid to speak. If we cannot reach them, that is a diligence failure we will not repeat.

Teams worry that a roster with hold and remove will “hurt the relationship.” The relationship that cannot survive a hold was not an operating relationship. It was a crush. Crushes do not belong on a launch calendar.
