Geographies and sophistication: the audience is a matrix
“Global community” is not a market. It is a refusal to choose.
Write markets as a list, not as a mood. United Kingdom. European Union, named member states if the facts require it. United States. Switzerland. Everywhere-else as a written decision, including “out.” For each market, write sophistication in the words counsel uses: professional, qualified, accredited, institutional, retail, consumer. Then write the promotion route, or write “no route, no campaign.”
US public, UK retail-facing, and “global” socials are different routes. They are not a toggle. A creator with a mixed audience is not a global strategy. They are a jurisdiction blender. If you cannot geofence a channel, do not put offering language in it. Product language may still be possible. Offering language is not a vibe that gets to travel because the algorithm is efficient.
Northline locked UK professional and EU professional and slept at night. Vellum locked UK and EU professional, no US public. Harbor wanted US retail via a proposal. Moonrise wanted global retail. The map does not care about ambition. It cares whether a sentence can be defended in the market where a stranger will read it.
Name the market before the message. If you cannot name it, pause.
