The issuer’s operating map: twelve fields before a public sentence · Using the map
How the map governs the Sprint, the site and the week
The map is not a kick-off souvenir. It is the weekly source of truth.
Day 0 of a Sprint locks the map. Days 1–3 write narrative and audience against it. Days 4–7 write the ninety-day plan against it. Days 8–11 put partners and the claims register on it. Days 12–14 read it back. If the map moved, the pack moved. If the map cannot move because a founder wants two contradictory markets, we stop and write the contradiction down. We do not average it into “global with a disclaimer.”
After the Sprint, the map still runs the week. A proposed tweet is checked against geographies and claims. A founder interview is checked against the speaker field. A partner newsletter is checked against the pathway. This is slower than a growth-team Slack. It is faster than a reconstruction after a complaint.
Weekly cadence against the map
If a meeting does not change a field or a claim, it was a salon.
- Monday
- What changed in product, counsel, markets. Update the map or record “no change.”
- Claims
- What is live, what is drafted, what was killed. Empty field, not publishable.
- Channels
- What will run this week, who approves, which audience.
- Incidents
- Drift, a creator off-brief, a support script that improvised. Archive.
- Stop test
- Could we unpublish in twenty-four hours. If no, nothing new goes out.
