The last cycle taught founders that distribution is a person with a following. It did not teach them that the person is a channel. Paying them in tokens, or with a success fee, can also be an arranging fact. On this desk, creator operations are a control system, not a growth hack. Anything else is unmanaged promotion with a friendly face.
